National Chair of the Holy Cross Fund
Shaun Mathews ’77, head of ING Investment Management’s Client Group in New York City, is the new national chair of the Holy Cross Fund. As national chair, he will be responsible for motivating class chairs, correspondents and agents in their classes’ fundraising efforts.
“I am often struck by the impact Holy Cross has had on its graduates, whether it be in the form of long lasting friendships, the nurturing of a sense of purpose and/or setting the foundation to help one believe that it is possible to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others,” Mathews says. “I look forward to working with our alumni volunteers to further strengthen their classmates’ relationship with Holy Cross and to sustain this experience for those who follow.”
Mathews, a former class chair and reunion volunteer, brings great enthusiasm and experience to the role. He and his wife, Kathy, live in Simsbury, Conn., and have two children, Kevin and Alison.
